Townline Homes presented Mayor Malcolm Brodie with a cheque for over $46,000 for the City of Richmond’s affordable housing reserve.
The money was donated from assignment fees from Calla at The Gardens.
Townline has confirmed that a revised design for its Hudson Place One project has been submitted meeting the City’s maximum height requirement of 72 [meters]. Hudson Place One has now been reduced to 25-storeys while retaining the same architectural design language prominent in its first submission.
Plans for what would have been the tallest building on Vancouver Island have been pared down by four storeys. That decision means the Beacon in Nanaimo will remain the Island’s title-holder at 27-storeys.
